Fall Baked Brie

Updated: Nov 6, 2019

Although Fall doesn’t officially begin until September 23rd, it is certainly in the air. Pumpkin Spice is back at Starbucks, Fall goodies are making their way into Trader Joe’s and Halloween decorations are flooding Home Goods.

We wanted to create the perfect appetizer to accompany your Fall grazing boards to start this season off. This beautiful baked brie dish will fit perfectly with any holiday party coming up in the next few months.

Brie is a hit on every grazing table! Baking brie elevates your dish and will definitely have you looking like a grazing professional at your next gathering. The best part about this recipe is you only need FOUR ingredients. Simple, festive, & delicious.

For our version, we used a berry jam. But this is where you can get creative. Pick your favorite fall-inspired jam! Anything from apple, cranberry or pear jam to pumpkin or fig butter. If you want to get really fancy in the kitchen, you could even try your hand at a homemade jam.

Ingredients:

• Frozen Pie Crust - you want the type that rolls out.

• Jam - any flavor, our personal favorite for Fall is this Just Jan's Pumpkin Butter.

• Brie

Egg Wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water)

Directions:

Thaw your crust in your refrigerator. Once it is completely thawed, roll out your pie crust. You’ll want to cut the crust into 6 equally sized strips.

Spread jam on top of the brie and then lay strips of crust over the top of the brie to create a criss-cross design. This will create your lattice style pie crust topping.

Brush the crust with your egg wash. This will help brown the crust.

Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until nice and brown.

Serve by itself or on a grazing board with your favorite ice cream, crackers, fruits or veggies!
